Why can't it be both?There is art in science and science in art. Look at Leonardo daVince, great artist, great scientist.My Dad (a chemist) has a hollograph of some molecule. So science has become art.

The best cooks I myself have known have been rather sloppy, and much more the artists.The best bakers I myself have known have been as exact and meticulous as scientists.I am NOT a good baker.
